Would you like to rent out your sports equipment through AdvenShare? Great! Not only will you be helping other adventurers, but you'll also be using your equipment wisely and sustainably. To ensure a smooth and fair rental process, you'll find all the important information for you as a renter here.
AdvenShare currently does not offer its own insurance for rented items. We value trust and fairness within the community. We therefore recommend that you agree on a fair security deposit directly with the renter. This can be paid in cash or by bank transfer upon handover – please discuss the details beforehand via the AdvenShare chat.
To ensure your sports equipment is found and booked, please note the following points:
● Registration on the platform including complete information about your user profile
● Modern, high-quality photos of your sports equipment
● A clear and honest description (condition, accessories, restrictions if applicable)
We do not carry out technical inspections of the equipment – you, as the lessor, are responsible for ensuring that your equipment is safe, functional, and rentable.
Using AdvenShare is free for landlords – a fee is only charged upon successful completion. AdvenShare retains 15% of the rental price to cover platform costs, payment processing (via Stripe), and support. You receive the remaining 85% automatically via the payout method you have specified.
The handover of the sports equipment always takes place personally between you and the renter. We strongly recommend observing the following points:
● Before handing over: Take photos of the sports equipment together, document its condition and record relevant information on a printout (e.g. serial number, existing signs of wear).
• Upon return: Go through the device together again, document any new damage, and both sign the return. This protects each other and ensures a trustworthy rental experience.
